1 August, 2021. Should be last marina day in Northport

Sunday looking across Grand Traverse Bay

Not so cool but windy this morning.  Rain showers off/on till about noon.  Listen to big Rick teach bible studies on the internet radio, then we headed out for a walk.  Pleasant morning, almost fall like!  That is so scary, but maybe a bit premature, come another month and folks will begin to take their boats and docks out of the water.

We are anxious to get moving south, but not today.  Winds gusting 25-30 from the north out on the lake and small craft advisories posted.  So another, perhaps this will be the last day in Northport.

The marina has been very good, safe, secure with great showers and laundry room.  Very clean.

Very interesting movable metal sculpture

Tonight winds are forecast to decrease but remain from the NW.  After midnight decreasing below 10-12 mph; corresponding waves decreasing to two feet or less.  We anticipate moving tomorrow.  Of course, until 0-dark thirty wake up and weather check, all remains speculation.
