Zero miles traveled on the water, zero engine hours on Serenity. But we have driven all over in the rental car and have seen the sights. Barnacles have begun to grow on us so it is time to continue the journey northward on the Chesapeake Bay.
Beautiful countryside with new greens and colorful flowers as spring blooms and trees leaf out. It has been pretty with warm sunny days and days chilly, with rain and drizzle.

Jamestown settlement and Colonial Williamsburg were additional days exploring and refreshing our history. We liked them all, but found for us, the top were: MacArthur memorial, Yorktown
American Revolution Museum and Jamestown settlement the archeological site.
Serenity has faired well tied up with the big boats. Clean, batteries refreshed and provisions purchased and stored.

Tomorrow we refill the fresh water tanks, inspect the boat, review the checklists and cast off the lines. We have enjoyed our stay but time to return to sea if only the Chesapeake Bay.

While we untie the lines tomorrow, we may not get too far and will anchor in the vicinity due to small craft advisory later tonight and tomorrow on the southern end of the bay. No problem, there are protected anchorages close and we can spend a day waiting for the weather and winds to improve after the cold front passage tonight.
