Last 30 minutes or so of our travel into Port Austin yesterday. A bit sporty.
Today, showers, heavy rain and strong gusty winds have kept Serenity and crew in port. We did boat projects, walked, laundry and got a few groceries. Nice community, clean and lots of folks vacationing in the area. A few larger boats came into the harbor and all had interesting stories as the sea state today was in the 3-4 footers most of the day. Not many fishing boats out, some, but most appeared to stay in the harbor or on the lee side of the break wall.
Tonight winds decrease pretty quickly and skies clear per the forecast. We have about a 5-6 hour weather window early tomorrow morning. If it holds then we will move across the bay. Will recheck all early tomorrow.
